How do I expect this workshop to influence my professional growth?

As I mentioned in my previous blog, my professional work requires intensive communication and facilitation with different type of communities. In that regard, I firmly believe that I will learn many new things related to the facilitation that will theoretically improve my skills and I will use them in practice. I believe that good facilitation leads to better and more productive relations. Let me give an example in this regard - good facilitation during the tendering process (preparation of the RFP, providing guidance to the contractors, evaluations etc.) result in getting real (low) prices .

What outcomes do I expect from this workshop?

Facilitation plays very crucial role not just in my career but in my everyday life as well. Each day needs to be facilitated in order to make it through. Working with various types of communities (schools, contractors, organizations etc) requires intensive facilitation. I do expect from this workshop to enhance my facilitation skills and to improve and learn new facilitation methods. I hope that the facilitators of this workshop will provide me with enough information in this regard.

Training vs. professional development

Training is for dogs! Professional development is for educators! The best way to learn things is the hard way! Viva la PEP!
